We are installing the CORRECT headers for the GT40P heads. These headers are specifically designed to work with GT40P specific heads. There is no need to get special spark plug boots when installing these headers. Out of the box they come ready for paint. I decided to go with a flat black VHT paint (very high temperature). These headers are very high quality and come with all bolts and gaskets from Ford Racing. On the GT40P heads, the spark plug angles are different than GT40's. This makes conventional headers very hard to use because of spark plug boot clearance. Save yourself the hassle and go with these GT40P specific headers from Ford Racing and save your spark plug boots from fire and burning.
